Aart Korsuize (1963) is geboren in Haarlemmermeer. Zijn kunst en leven zijn verenigd, in miniaturen aan dunne draadjes, door het plastificeren van tekeningen, schilderijen, textiel, schrijfsels, veren enz. Aart's laminartã is een nieuw medium. Het doorzichtige dubbelzijdig werk gaat een dialoog aan met het licht wat er op schijnt en de omringende omgeving. Het herinnert ons eraan dat wij deel zijn van een wereld in flux, altijd in beweging, altijd anders. De kleurrijke beelden - geïnspireerd door zowel poëzie, literatuur, filosofie en muziek, als observaties, dromen en fantasieën - hebben multi-dimensionele lagen vol onwetendheid, humor, sensualiteit en een open seksualiteit. Aart Korsuize (1963) is born in Holland in Haar- lemmermeer. His art and life are incorporated, in miniatures hanging from thin threads, through laminating drawings, paintings, needle work, feathers, writings etc. Aart's Laminart is a new form of medium.The transparent quality of his double sided pieces of art incorporates the light that shines on it and the surrounding environ- ment. It remind us that we are a part of a world in flux, always moving, always different.
